It's meant that I'd rather play a full-blown RPG which I know will take even longer but often will have a stronger story or (to me) more fun gameplay to make up for that. That extra time though isn't being used well. My issue is the time - these games get longer and longer, which of course means you take longer to finish them. Far Cry especially recycles ideas, not just from itself, but from Assassin's Creed, and Just Cause 4 felt like Just Cause 3 with less soul. After my frustration with just trying to reach Mechagon, I wound up spending little time there. In the past, I was excited about the idea of seeing Azsharas seat of power, and her having more involvement in the story.

The Ubisoft formula games are worst at this, but it's happened to series like Mafia and God of War (as far as I can tell) too. Her ultimate plan is to use the players Heart of Azeroth to unlock the prison of her master, the Old God NZoth.

But it feels like with everything going open world, the amount of linear games have dropped, and so many previously linear games are moving towards open world (and with RPG elements) to the point where it feels like bloat for the sake of it. I really liked Just Cause 2, and Far Cry 3, and even managed to find some merit in Far Cry 2. If you don't think any of the above situations apply, you can use this feedback form to request a review of this block.Open world games for me, and especially open-world-with-RPG-elements. Unfortunately, if this school or place of business doesn't stop people from abusing our resources, we don't have any other way to put an end to it. When we get more abuse from a single IP address than we do legitimate traffic, we really have no choice but to block it. Unfortunately, so do spammers and hackers. IP bans will be reconsidered on a case-by-case basis if you were running a bot and did not understand the consequences, but typically not for spamming, hacking, or other abuse. If you are responsible for one of the above issues. Id heard much better theories and rumours about the end, so it was a shame they were all wrong. Maybe in part because I was disappointed by the way the trilogy ended with Revolutions.
